The City of Manhattan maintains and operates three pools during the summer. The pools will open May 24, 2014.

City Pool
Located in City Park, 11th and Poyntz Avenue
Hours: 1 to 8 p.m.

Located in CiCo Park, Wreath and Kimball Avenue
Hours: 1 to 6 p.m.

2014 Rates
Unlimited Individual Season Passes
Unlimited individual season passes are available for the first time in 2014. When you buy one pass for $45 (ages 2 and older), you can purchase a second pass for $35. Both passes must be purchased at the same time. Purchase these passes at the Parks and Recreation Office, 1101 Fremont.

Key fobs are also available for 10 punches for $25.

Replacement Key Fobs
If your key fob is lost, a replacement can be purchased for $3 — only at the Parks and Recreation Office, 1101 Fremont. If admissions on your lost key fob are used before you report it lost, those admissions will not be reissued.

Splash Park
The Splash Park is located in the southeast corner of City Park. Free Admission. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of aquatics activities. There are activities available for all ages and abilities. Sign up for these classes and more online.

Swim America
Swim America is a national learn-to-swim program. It is goal-driven, technique-oriented and considered by many swimming experts to be a state-of-the-art program. You may enroll your child for the dates and times you desire. Sessions run Monday through Friday for two weeks. The Swim America program adjusts the assigned coaches to the appropriate skill levels of the swimmers enrolled for each time period. Average class size will be six swimmers per coach. Preschool participants must be 3 or 4 before first class meeting, and must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Fee: $30 per session. Ages: 3-4 or 5 and older. Time: Morning lessons available at all pools; evening lessons available at CiCo Pool. Dates: Session 1, June 16-27; Session II, July 7-17; Session III, July 21-Aug. 1.

Body Boarding Classes
Come learn the basics of body boarding. Try to standup if you want, and enjoy this unique wave pool in Kansas.

The following classes and sessions are offered at the following rates: $40 per session (MWF), $27 (T/TH), $60 (M-F).
Water Workout at CiCo Pool
A great way to start your day. Offers low-impact moves with added resistance from the water. Time/Date: 8-8:45 a.m. June 2-July 3; 8-8:45 a.m. July 7-Aug. 8.

Body Waves at CiCo Pool

Enjoy how the water provides resistance for a total body workout. Time/Date: 12:05-12:45 p.m. June 2-July 3; 12:05-12:45 p.m. July 7-Aug. 8.

River Running at City Pool

Try out this fun way to move in the Lazy River. (Suggestion: Buy water shoes.) Time/Date: 11:05-11:45 a.m. (MWF) June 2-July 2; 12:05-12:45 p.m. (MWF) June 2-July 2; 11:05-11:45 a.m. (T/TH) June 3-July 3); 11:05-11:45 a.m. (MWF) July 7-Aug. 8; 12:05-12:45 p.m. (MWF) July 7-Aug. 8; 11:05-11:45 a.m. (T/TH) July 8-Aug. 7.
